Two weeks ago I suggested a name to encompass all of those on a crusade to change our country, and make our Constitution irrelevant. The name: The Great Unwashed. But it was not a name that accurately portrayed the evil Progressives (Liberals) are engaged in.

Last week Glenn Beck did an expose’ of Marxism on TV that documented historical events from Karl Marx to the present. The documentary was a revelation of how Marxism has gained a foothold in our country, from the early 1900’s to the Obama Administration.

American Marxists (Progressives [Liberals]) delight in calling Conservatives Nazis, saying that Hitler was a Conservative. They couldn’t be more wrong!

Hitler was a Marxist, just like Russia’s Stalin and China’s Mao. All Marxists have the same agenda:
- A philosophy of death: Hitler killed 6-8 million; Stalin 8 - 11 million; Mao, Anita Dunne’s favorite philosopher (she is an Obama confidant), over 60 million. Mao is the only one to exceed our home-grown Marxists - they’ve only killed 50 million unborn American children.
- Government control of people’s lives: the economy, education, health care, and the media. The Obama Administration and Progressives (Liberals) in Congress have attacked Fox News Channel for speaking truth that Obama and Congress don’t want to hear. That should scare the hell out of the Mainstream Media.
- Hatred of Jews: Anti-Semites have always been enraged at the idea that Jews were given a land by a God they don’t acknowledge, and furious at the statement by Jesus, a Jew, that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Our Marxists are more subtle; they don’t kill Jews, they simply help those that do. They financially support terrorist groups like Hamas, with our tax dollars ($800,000,000!).

Since the time of Marxism’s introduction into the U.S. by Progressives (Liberals), the advocates have been re-writing history. Marxists cannot argue with the Founding Fathers or the Constitution, and so they have re-written history to discredit the Founding Fathers, and to modify the Constitution.

A few of their beliefs:

-Denial of the strong Christian faith of the Founding Fathers; Progressives like to call them Deists. When one examines the statements of those great men, their foundational belief in Christ is undeniable. But our present-day history books print a re-written version. The reality of Progressives’ (Liberals’) history is like the reality of the Simpsons.

-Re-writing the Constitution, finding “Law” that doesn’t exist in the Constitution. Things like “Separation of Church & State”, and “A Right of Privacy”, to name just two.

The original Declaration of Independence proclaimed, “we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”.

The attack on these rights by Progressives (Liberals), this country’s Marxists, has required a 2nd Declaration of Independence. It is called The Manhattan Declaration.

A summary:

“Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

“We are Orthodox, Catholic, and Evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call on our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are:

“1. The sanctity of human life,
2. the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife and,
3. the rights of conscience and liberty.

“Inasmuch as these truths are foundational to human dignity and the well-being of society, they are inviolable and non-negotiable. Because they are increasingly under assault from powerful forces in our culture, we are compelled today to speak out forcefully in their defense, and to commit ourselves to honoring them fully no matter what the pressures are brought upon us and our institutions to abandon or compromise them. We make this commitment not as partisans of any political group, but as followers of Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

I particularly like the last paragraph of the summary:

“We will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar’s. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God’s."
