For a while I was writing to young people, but because of the serious problems in this country, I was addressing the problems.

But I have a burden for young people, you kids, because as bad as things are in Texas and the United States, I realize that the real hope for our country lies in you. Convincing you of that is the most important, because you have not yet been indoctrinated, as have so many adults, with the garbage put out from the political left, Liberals, who are tearing down our morals, and leading us deeper and deeper into bigger government and higher taxes.

Should you care? You bet! You are the ones who are going to be saddled with the enormous debt our president and congress are giving us. It won’t be long before you have the power of the vote, to help put us back to the wonderful system of government our Founding Fathers installed, and which we have enjoyed until the present presidential administration.

To start, I believe that without allegiance to God, our country will cease to be number 1. For over 40 years kids have not been able to hear anything about God in school. So I’m going to talk to you as if you know nothing about God.

You are alive because of Him. You were created (not evolved) to know God, to love Him, be happy in this life, and be happy with Him forever in the next life (which will be so long it’s hard to imagine. Life on earth is like a cup of water, compared to eternity, which is like the Gulf of Mexico).

Now, how do you get to know God? Through His Word, the Bible. I’ll tell you a little about Him, and hope that you’ll want to get to know Him.

It’s hard to believe, but God loves you more than your parents do. Your Father in Heaven loves you so much that He gave His only Son, to suffer real torture, not sissified water boarding; and to die nailed to a rough wooden cross, unable even to scratch his nose. And though it isn’t shown, He was naked. So the nicest, coolest guy who ever lived had to suffer embarrassment on top of everything else.

And He did that willingly, so that your sins would be washed away with His blood. It shows how much He loves you. It sounds too good to be true, but it is true! You can bet your i-pod or game-boy on it.

If you are, or become, a believer I have some very good news for you. You won’t hear this in most churches, and certainly not in any religion except Christianity. But if you can believe it, it will set you free better than songs, booze, drugs, sex, porn, or anything else the world has to offer.

You may think God makes strong demands of you. When you fall short, or when things go wrong, you may feel God is punishing you.

The truth is, if you are a believer, God doesn’t hold anything against you. You are good in His sight; He looks at you through the shed blood of His Son.

In fact, God’s word says He who has the right to condemn you chose instead to die for you, and that He has risen, seated at our Father’s right hand, constantly standing in for you.

Many Christians think God puts sickness or disease on them because they did something wrong. These sincere Christians struggle with condemnation because they think that they are the cause of their problems. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ever since the cross, where Jesus was judged in your place for every one of your wrong actions, thoughts and words, God no longer judges or condemns you, His child. You don’t need to accept condemnation or bad things happening to you, because Jesus took all your punishment at the cross.

So when you start to feel condemned, say, “It is written, it is God who makes me clean (Romans 8:33). I am completely forgiven. I will not accept condemnation.”
