I’m taking a Time Out from building my “house” of beliefs. When I started building, I told you that my foundation was Jesus, the solid Rock; and I’ve often used the acronym WOB D WOD (What One Believes, Determines What One Does), because what people believe explains so much of what is going wrong in our country.

To show the difference in the foundation of two men’s “houses” of beliefs, and the difference between a Democrat of 45 years ago and a Democrat today, I’ll compare John F. Kennedy, our 35th President, and Barrack H. Obama, our 44th President.

JFK had Jesus as his foundation; you can tell that by the things he said and did. I believe BHO’s foundation is a mixture of big government, abortion, and egotism. He said “I’m a committed Christian”; hogwash! Sitting in a church doesn’t make you a Christian, especially when the pastor is hate-filled.

John Kennedy, unlike Barack Obama, was a war hero. He captained a PT (Patrol Torpedo) Boat, which was shot out from under him. I could be mistaken, but I don’t think President Obama likes this nation enough to want to defend it.

John Kennedy, unlike Barack Obama, lowered taxes.

John Kennedy, unlike Barack Obama, didn’t spend money like a drunken sailor. (I was once a sailor [U.S.C.G.] and once was drunk, but I didn’t have any money to “spend like a drunken sailor”.)

John Kennedy, unlike Barack Obama, stood up to our enemies. He got Russia to take missiles out of Cuba. The Russians thought they’d snuck the missiles in, but our security service people got the information, and Kennedy acted on it. Today, Obama’s people want to put our security service people in prison because they might have been too rough on people who want to kill you and me!

To my knowledge John Kennedy, unlike Barack Obama, never lied to the American people. I’ve seen President Obama lie a lot, and millions of Americans are starting to see through his flashy personality.

I haven’t always liked our presidents, but I respected their position as leader of the country. I’ve lost respect for Barack Obama, and I’m not alone. During Barack Obama’s speech on Wednesday, September 9th, Joe Wilson, congressman from South Carolina, yelled out “You lie!” First time ever! I’m proud of the congressman!

Before Obama was elected, I looked at his background: no business experience, no executive experience (he never ran a city, a state, or a company), and no foreign policy experience. His closest friends are all people who either hate America or hate Jews, or both. His only experience is as a “Community Organizer” with ACORN, one of the most corrupt organizations in the United States.

The main reason he was elected is that the Mainstream Media loves him, despite his lack of experience and his suspect associations. The mainstream media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC [network & cable TV]; New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times [newspapers]) have the same dislike for America the way it is, that Obama and the Democrats have. They didn’t report ANY of the many negatives, which, if the American people knew, would have caused Obama to lose big-time.

Obama has said he wants to transform the United States, and he is doing his best to do that. We don’t need a transformer, we need a leader to make us proud, and prosperous, like John F Kennedy and Ronald Reagan (a Republican)did.

Back to Joe Wilson. What he did was rude and unprecedented. Since yelling out he has apologized; it’s been accepted.

But the Democrats and the Mainstream Media are screaming like stuck pigs! How dare he? The Republican Party has lost its civility!

Wait a minute! The Mainstream Media never complained when:
- Democrats, for eight years, said “Bush lied, and people died”. (It was untrue.)
- Harry Reid, Democrat leader of the Senate, called Bush a liar. Guess it’s civil if a Democrat says it.
- Nancy Pelosi, Democrat leader of the House of Representatives, called your parents and grandparents Nazis for criticizing Obama’s policies.

And on and on.

Hooray for Joe Wilson. Now let’s see some Republican leaders stand up and be counted!
