This 2nd Time Out from building my “house” of beliefs involves something happening that I think is very important for you to know. It concerns our leaders, and the awful things they are doing to our country.

A title for this Time Out could be “Children of God”, or, “My People”.

By now you should know that what you believe is vital. WOB D WOD (What One Believes, Determines, What One Does). How do you know if what you believe is right?

Unless you find another book presenting contrary evidence, you can base your beliefs on the Bible. I know of no religion other than Judaism and Christianity that make as much sense, or that have Truth and Life (that’s Jesus; John 14:6).

You won’t learn anything about Judaism or Christianity in public school. Our schools and courts have become ungodly, even weird. Last week I saw a video of a class in a New Jersey public school, with kids singing: “Barack Hussein Obama, he’s better than your mama! [the last five words are mine] mmm, mmm, mmm”. They praise a mere man, and yet we cannot praise our Creator, the Lord and Giver of Life!

Here’s a little history to provide a foundation for what you believe:

From Adam to Abraham, most people were Gentiles, defined as “Heathen” or “Pagan” (irreligious or uncivilized). Abraham, because he believed God, was chosen to be the leader of the first non-Gentiles, the Jews. There were only Jews and Gentiles until Jesus, the Messiah, the promised Redeemer came. After Jesus there were Jews, and Jews who believed in Messiah (later called Christians), and Gentiles. It’s the same today.

All people besides Jews and Christians are Gentiles. We are all creatures of God, but are not all “Children of God”. Paul said we are children of God through Jesus Christ (Rom 9:8 & Gal 3:26). Jesus said you had to believe in Him to be saved (many Scriptures).

Many people say they are Christians; Presdident Obama said he’s a “Committed” Christian, but you can tell by what is done. You can tell if a tree’s good by it’s fruit.

A Committed Christian is one who believes in Jesus, that: He is True God and True Man; He died for your sins, He was raised from the dead, and that He’s alive today. And we have to keep His commandments, “Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself”. (Mark 12:29-31)

What does all of this have to do with you, just a kid? You have a serious problem and probably don’t know it. Our country, your country, is being led by people claiming to be religious, but who are leading us to economic, social, and military ruin.

Economic: Higher spending and higher taxes are ruining our economy.

Social: They support the killing of unborn American children up to the point of birth, and beyond!

Military: They support Israel’s enemies ($800,000,000 to Hamas, terrorists). And by not supporting Israel they are calling God’s wrath on the United States. Jesus WAS a Jew when He lived in Israeli, and He’s STILL a Jew!

What can you do about what’s happening to your country? You don’t have a vote, and most adults won’t listen to you because “you’re too young to understand”. So what can you do? A lot. You can pray - hard, every day.

What should you say to God?

When you pray the Lord’s Prayer, the Our Father, when it comes to the part where we ask God to deliver us from evil, substitute “Please Father, deliver us from the Obama Administration”.

There’s a prayer that God Himself told the Jews to pray about 3,000 years ago, “If My people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land”. (2nd Chron 7:14)

God didn’t ask everyone to pray, just “My people”. If you’re a committed Christian, you’re one of “My people”.

If we depend on today’s leaders, like Barack Obama, we will not have our land healed. And my, it does need healing!
