Freedom is a lot like time, when lost it’s gone forever. We can’t hold or see either one, but we can enjoy living IN time if we’re living WITH freedom.

The cost of the freedom we enjoy in the United States has been paid by the blood of MILLIONS of young people who fought and died - for us.

The cost of our eternal freedom was paid by the blood of ONE man, Who also died - for us. He said, “Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

Well now, what am I to get from that as it relates to the United States? It’s not a “stretch” to say that freedom is a gift from God. It is. Believing in Jesus will set me free, so it stands to reason that believing in Jesus will set the United States free. I’m not talking about establishing a “Church”; I’m talking about living in God-given freedom.

Kids, do you remember a few weeks ago, when building my “house” of beliefs I said the most important part of my “house” was the foundation? And do you remember that I said my foundation was Jesus?

I believe Jesus is the foundation of the United States; His principles are established in the Constitution. We have the Constitution because men of strong principles believed in God and the Bible. It was even compulsory to teach the Bible in school!

George Washington, our first President, wrote in his personal prayer book: “Oh eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work.” And, “Bless O Lord, the whole race of mankind and let the world be filled with the knowledge of your Son, Jesus Christ.”

Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Christianity is the best friend of government because it’s the only religion that changes the heart”.

(You might want to ask your teacher why you aren’t taught about that in school.)

Have you heard that our nation was founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic? It’s true. Do you know what the Judeo-Christian ethic is?
Judaism was established by God. The Philistines of old (Goliath was one) and Islam today really hate the Jews. It’s because they don’t accept the God of the Jews - they have a different god. There was no freedom with the Philistines, and there is no promise of freedom with Islam. (Look what a Muslim did last week in Fort Hood, Texas.)

The Jews were established as a nation so that there would be a people who believed in God, who would be worthy ancestors of Messiah, the promised Redeemer, the Christ.

(“WOB D WOD, What One Believes, Determines What One Does”; it wasn’t what the Jews did, but what they believed that pleased God. Abraham, the human father of the Jews, did a lot of things that weren’t nice, like lying, and yet he is called the friend of God because of his faith - his belief! James 2:27).

Jesus was born a Jew, raised in a Jewish family, and ministered to Jews. When He suffered and died, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven He was a Jew. He’s still a Jew, and will be for all eternity!

Judaism and Christianity are intertwined - inseparable. They have the same God, the same Messiah, Christ. They are the only two religions instituted by God.

Judaism was founded BY the Rock; Christianity was founded ON the Rock.

For years, Progressives (Liberals) have been chipping away at our Constitution, and the freedom it guarantees.

We now have a President who is the most Progressive (Liberal) President we have ever had. He has surrounded himself with Progressives (Liberals) who advocate Atheistic Marxism, one of the greatest enemies of our freedom. They and Progressives (Liberals) in both parties and the Mainstream Media are actively chipping away at our Constitution.

Kids! Don’t let them do it! Ask the God of freedom, on your knees, to deliver us from these people!
