When I was ten years old, doing my homework in front of the radio, my dad was in his easy chair doing a crossword puzzle.

The program’s announcer told a true story about a couple with a little child in a boat that capsized; the woman had to choose to save either her husband or the child. The announcer said he would tell us after the commercial whom she saved.

Without hesitation my dad said, “The child”. I asked him how he could be sure, and he said, “Mother love”.

We’re all born with “drives”, natural, urgent, basic instinctual needs. The most prominent is self-preservation, the will to live. Included are mother love, our sex drive, and freedom. Freedom is the God-given natural yearning of all mankind (except for terrorists).

The United States has been free since its beginning, and has helped many others to keep their freedom, or get rid of those who believe in tyranny, not freedom.

You won’t remember that the United States freed the Caribbean island of Grenada, because it happened while Ronald Reagan was President (God, please send him back to replace what we have now).

Grenada was controlled by a left-leaning leader (most of our Congressional Democrats are left-leaning; they like to be called Progressives [they are left-leaning Liberals]).

The leader was Maurice Bishop. He was overthrown, and killed, by Bernard Coard because Mr. Bishop was not left-leaning enough to suit Coard, who wanted to install Communism.

Part of the story: (Cruise Travel, Sept/Oct 2009) “The island was placed under martial law with the threat that anyone caught outside their homes would be shot. Such actions, along with cozy relationships with Cuba [WEM: does that bring anyone in Washington to mind?], led Reagan to send in the Marines, and Coard was trounced”.

Our Mainstream Media was furious! I remember all three of the network anchors denouncing Reagan for his rash actions, but they changed their tune the very next day, when it became apparent that the American people overwhelmingly supported removing the Communist dictator, and that the people of Granada were delighted, and grateful.

This is the same Mainstream Media today that ignores that Barrack Obama is betraying the people of Nicaragua by supporting a leftist leader who has defied the will of his people (like our congress with Obamacare).

The Mainstream Media has not changed! They were Progressives (Liberals) then, and they still are. They hated Ronald Reagan almost as much as they hated George W. Bush, and almost as much as they now hate Sarah Palin. (They are scared to death of Sarah! I know this: she wouldn’t bow to leaders, and “negotiate” with people sworn to kill us.)

The people sworn to kill us are primarily Muslim nations. But it’s politically correct to say nice things about Muslims, and negotiate with Muslim nations, even though over 100,000,000 Muslims are terrorists; ugly, evil people, who have sworn to kill us.

The Muslims’ book, the Koran, tells Muslims it’s OK to kill an infidel (anybody who doesn’t believe the same things they do). And the Koran tells the murderers they will be rewarded with lots of sex in heaven!

I’ve heard no leader dispute the claim that a murderer can go to heaven.

Progressives (Liberals) won’t call Muslim extremists terrorists, but they’ll call Christians extremists. Go figure!

It is also politically correct to say nasty things about Christians, although only a few are terrorists; ugly, evil people.

The Christians’ book, the Bible, says there is no sex in heaven [sorry, boys] (Matt 22:23-30) and murderers will die in their sin, go to Hell (John 8:23,24 and 8:44).

The United States exists because of men with very high principles who fiercely believed in freedom, which is why we’re free today. Most of them were Christians who believed, “If the son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36).

I heard President Obama say, “I’m a committed Christian”. I don’t think so; saying it isn’t enough. He’s a Muslim, but I’m not supposed to point that out, it’s not politically correct.

It looks to me like the policies of our Progressive (Liberal) leaders show a lust for power, the father of tyranny. (That’s the opposite of freedom.)
